Chapter 7: Bye, I’m on my way

Note to English readers: Yaara’s speeches are an adaptation of a well-known Israeli pop song.

Yaara: Bye, I’m on my way!
Uri: Wait a moment, take out the rubbish on your way down.
Yaara: I don’t want you to keep me company…
Uri: What?
Yaara: Not that I have any illusions about Kiev (original: London)
Uri: OK…
Yaara: Kiev isn’t expecting me … I’ll be alone there too
Uri: But I’m coming too!
Yaara: There are more movies in Kiev
Uri: In Russian or Ukrainian? What do you have to do with Russian or Ukrainian movies?
Yaara: In Kiev there’s great music!
Uri: !?!
Yaara: In Kiev people are more polite.
Uri: Sure...
Yaara: Bye, I’m on my way
Uri: Did you take the rubbish bin?
Yaara: Kiev isn’t expecting me…
Uri: At least wait for me?
Yaara: Not that I have any illusions about Kiev
Uri: Give me a hand with the suitcase, will you?
Yaara: Kieve isn’t expecting me…
Uri: I didn’t think you liked Chava Alberstein (the singer of this song) anyway
Yaara: Yalla, let’s go!
The Baby: Yalla?!?!

We’re off on the journey of our lives, this chapter a bit delirious, in the morning just before leaving for the flight. Thanks to Chava Alberstein for permission to use the text of London.
We’ll update you as soon as we can.
